Georgia is thrilled to join the Blue Ridge community as a learning specialist at the Fishburne Learning Center. Georgia recently graduated from UVA, earning a B.S.Ed in Special Education and an M.Ed in Reading Education. Before teaching at Blue Ridge, Georgia primarily worked with students with autism in grades K-12. Georgia also has experience in designing and implementing effective reading intervention programs. A passionate advocate for literacy, Georgia strives to share her love of stories with students. Outside of her role as an educator, Georgia enjoys spending time with her family and two terriers.
